Great Cardboard Castles.

You can use it in Kids Parties, or children might have it as Their Own Castle at Home. This Simple Idea gets the desired effect without doubts. 

You´ll need cardboard boxes. They must be  big enough, since so your kids should fit in there.

In this picture, you´ll see it´s made out of one box placed  horizontal ly and two vertically. Cut out the windows and the doors. Design the details of the towers with cardboard.

In this model, the castle is made like the one above. However, you have to put together more boxes to make the towers with covered corridors among them. Paint and decorate the castle as you like, or ask your Kids to Make it Themselves.

To design doors you can open and close, make them like the ones in the castle above. Cut a part of the door and leave some parts stuck to the box. Fold this part to mark where the door opens and closes. You can also make cardboard hinges to reinforce the doors.
